Hey there lovely candies, just thought I’d let you know that I am going to be participating in the Support Stacie Stocking Stuffer Author Auction AS AN AUTHOR! Last time out, I was too chicken to put myself up on the block, so I only entered as a bidder and won 6 fics but now that I’m putting myself out there, please consider bidding for me!

The auctions take place over the following days (Thanksgiving weekend in the US):

I am willing to write for any Roswell canon couple and any hetero unconventional couple not featuring Michael Guerin or Maria Deluca. No slash, no incest, no adult/teen, no dupes. But don’t let those restrictions discourage you, there are still loads of couples out there that you could have me write. My writing samples are located at Electric Candy. As you can tell, I obviously only have written for Michael/Maria so far and I am not that experienced as an author in general but I promise that I will do my very best to deliver a good fic for the winning bidder! I will also be offering a special offer of making 5 icons each for every person that makes a bid for my services….any fandom, any couple (even the ones I hate!). Perhaps even a full fan art for substantial bids.

All money goes to Stacie/truelovepooh, a mother of three who is batting stage 2 ovarian cancer and breast cancer without any health insurance. She desperately needs our help so she can continue her life saving treatment. Over $12,000 US has been raised so far, but unfortunately there is still a long way to go.

The Majandra Delfino board at Mediablvd is currently running Q&A sessions with different candy authors featured each week. Last week the lovely Christina, aka Fehrbaby answered lots of questions about her work and this week it is the turn of ArchAngel1973 and xmag, the awesomely talented duo behind the latest epic M/M fic, Doo’awee eehoozIIh da - The Lost Child.

For those who don’t already know, the gallery is now complete - with full Roswell screencaps for all three seasons, all Brendan Fehr/Majandra Delfino photo shoots and public appearances (thanks to BF Online!), caps of various BF/MD projects and lots of amazing artwork being continually added to by some amazing candy fan artists! Just wanted to put it out there that I don’t win any of the bids I’ve put in for the Support Stacie Fanfic on Demand Auction, that I would like to offer a $100+ donation if an author is willing to write a longer fic for me (nothing epic, just a substantial 10,000-20,000 word fic would be fine).

It’s for a very worthy cause, I think we’ve all been touched by cancer in some way or another. For me personally, I lost my grandmother to the disease seven years ago and recently had a double whammy of my great-uncle and great-aunt passing away on the very same day two months ago, again both of cancer. I haven’t had the pleasure of getting to know Stacie/truelovepooh but she is a dear friend of many of some wonderful people on my flist and have never seen anything but kind things written about her. Stacie does not have health care insurance and has a family to support. So if you can, please consider bidding or taking up my offer. A young mum needs our help.
